A selection of the best sport podcasts. As well as weekly tournament based podcasts, there are also some good one offs.

BBC Sounds
There are some extremely good sports podcasts hosted by the BBC such as:
Football Daily looks ahead to the weekend Premier League fixtures. Hosted by Kelly Somers with rotating guests and with a runtime of approximately 40 minutes.
Test Match Special is always a good listen and comes into it’s own during major tournaments or England series in whatever format.
Fighting Talk is a long standing show that airs on Radio 5 Saturday at 11.00am.
It’s an hour of sporting punditry, humour and entertainment. Points are awarded for informed comment, wit and passion, but deducted for nonsense and answers lacking in conviction.
Guests are a mix of ex-sports people, media and comedians.
Sport’s Strangest Crimes
Takes a look at a wide range of misdemeanours from a variety of sports with each series running for eight episodes. Popular stories include Allen Stanford – The Man Who Bought Cricket, The Real Story of Shergar and The Trillion Dollar Conman.
Sacked In The Morning is hosted by Amy Irons and ex player/manager, Craig Levein.
Each week, they are joined by a current or former manager and they discuss a different topic such as Team Spirit, Transfer Market, Managing Overseas or coping with the Christmas schedule.
It’s a format that works particularly well as tales are told from behind the scenes, most of which are highly amusing.
Confessions of a Match Fixer
Moses Swaibu was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the year but never fully realised his potential as is the case with so many young players.
In conversation with fellow pro Troy Deeney, Moses tells how as he played in lower grade matches, he got deeper and deeper into match fixing and how he was able to manipulate results. It’s a well told tale as multiple matches in an English lower league were fixed and scarcely believable that bets like a correct first half score could be achieved.
