For example, when I ring customer services, I try to engage with whoever I’m speaking to and often that leads to an interesting exchange. I don’t consider it an act of kindness – just being human.
Providing we have our physical and mental capabilities, there’s no reason why ageing should be associated with a reduced way of life, it just requires some effort.
If we haven’t done something before, the biggest barrier can be not making the effort to try or giving up too easily.
