Ms. Slagle is a Technology and Engineering veteran with over 20 years experience. She has a broad knowledge base in both industries which enables her to quickly understand and assess the needs of her clients and customers regarding variable staffing demands.
Ms. Slagle has consistently performed in sales, delivery and operations with a strong focus on delivering quality results in a timely manner. Her tenacious commitment to excellence in both client and employee relations is her distinguishing professional characteristic and the key to the many successful relationships she has maintained throughout her career.
A member of the Arizona Technology Council, Ms. Slagle is active in the community, committed to emphasis on STEM education for our upcoming talent in the Tech and Engineering industries. She is active in many other local and national professional groups to ensure she is in step with the latest technological, environmental, and labor developments impacting the market and business.
Ms. Slagle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management. She began her career with Andersen Consulting as a campus recruiter and progressively moved into responsible positions such as Director of Recruiting for Sprint, Director, West Coast HR at CB Richard Ellis, and Strategic Account Executive with Advantage Technical Resourcing.
Philip Vail, Managing Partner
Mr. Vail has accumulated a prolific and decorated record working within the Information Technology sector in the capacity of entrepreneur and within executive leadership positions in sales and business development. Having established a foothold in the computer industry in the early 1980s with a platform of experience ranging from PC/laptop to loci and wide area network (LAN/WAN), Mr. Vail founded METRO Technologies, Incorporated in 1993.
METRO Technologies was recognized as a top integrator in the Region, garnering various awards including the annual INC. 500 and the Washington FastTrack Top 50 companies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as well as the VARBusiness Top 100 Integrators in the U.S. As co-founder and Executive-Vice President of Sales for METRO and its hardware-focused sister company Metropolitan Technologies, Mr. Vail fostered the valuable assets of customer service and human resource support to complement a host of hardware, software and other systems integration products and services offered and distributed by this company. In addition to building and managing the sales force, Mr. Vail was responsible for negotiating and implementing large local and national contracts. A sampling of these significant contracts include companies such as Bureau of National Affairs (BNA), the Discovery Channel, AARP, Navy Federal Credit Union, Metrocall, Hughes Networks, Network Solutions, Gannett/USA Today, and most of the large law firms in the Washington, DC area such as Arnold & Porter and Shaw Pittman.
With his vision and foresight, Mr. Vail ushered in the sale of METRO to Verizon in 1999 after growing this company to several hundred employees, and served as the Executive Director of Regional Sales for the newly formed entity that resulted, known as the Verizon Data Solutions Group until 2002.
With over 20 years of management and sales experience in the computer reseller industry, and a unique ability to foster and negotiate beneficial partnerships, Mr. Vail continues to be a leader in supporting and nurturing fledgling and novel entrepreneurial opportunities. Mr. Vail was a seed investor for the newest NASCAR team, Bang! Racing, purchased a local manufacturing company in Phoenix, SunPac International, and has served as an advisor, ‘Angel’ investor and board member on multiple start-up companies, such as Conformia Software, Underground Solutions and BlueMercury.
